I think a better test case for 21st century multi-modal would be The Block at Northway. There are apartment complexes and neighborhoods at safe terrains and distances right there.

How about a sidewalk into the neighborhood next to it so I don’t need my car. . we need to start decreasing our reliance on the car. And most of suburbia could use more walking and biking in their lives (me included). I would love it if more places are mcknight were walkable instead of a we get to dodge cars going 60 without a sidewalk.
