There are 2 corners in this draft: Hargreaves and Alexander. After that, they’re all about the same (IMO) in R3 as they are at 25; so, I’d wait. Artie Burns in R2. Cyrus Jones in R3.

Conversely, the DT/DE positions is extremely deep. One could wait until 58 to get a R1 talent. That said, at 25, one could get a “top 15” talent.

There is one safety that stands out: Joseph. Then, there is a large cluster of safeties who would be a good value at 58.

Lastly, there is ONE pass-rusher in this draft: Spence. If he’s there, I take him… and draft one of very deep positions in later rounds.

I think the Steelers biggest hole is at DT/DE hybrid, then SS and C, so I’d tend to draft in that order, but that can be affected by the depth available at those positions. For instance, if the Steelers wait til the second round for a SS, or til the third round for a C, they may not find someone starter ready, but they may find a starter ready DT/DE.

What are your thoughts about how the draft depth at those positions might affect the Steelers picking order?
